1776 Pursues LeBron James

The Morristown 1776 Association Football Club has offered NBA free agent Lebron James a one day contract to try his hand at soccer, sources close to the club have confirmed.

Club officials have said to been in contact with LeBron James' management company LRMR Marketing, headed by James' longtime friend and business manager Maverick Carter.

A photo has surfaced on the internet of 1776 central defender Mugunthan Naveendra meeting with LeBron James, allegedly just before Jay-Z and the Nets meeting on Thursday.
