1776 Comeback Clinks Off Crossbar

(Randolph,NJ)- The Morristown 1776 A.F.C. fell 3-2 Tuesday night to Skull And Bones the defending league champion in Indoor Sports Pavalion's Mens Open Division.

Dan Clayton scored early to give the Continentals the lead but Skull And Bones scored the next 3 to take a 3-1 lead with less than 3 minutes to play.

Morristown answered almost instantly as Clayton again found twine with a pretty back heel as the referee signaled 2 minutes of stoppage time.

1776 took the initiative in stoppage time as a Russell Bauer shot clinked the crossbar and Ryan Deighan also had a scoring chance as time expired.
