Much at Stake for 6/23 Match @ Sheffield Crew

The Morristown 1776 AFC will go to Sheffield Park on Monday 6/23 at 6:30 pm to take on the all to familiar Sheffield Crew. The last time these two clubs met was less than two weeks ago, as the Continentals of Morristown acheived a favorable result in a 4-1 over the Crew. This time around, much, much more is at stake.

Morristown 1776 is currently in 6th place out of 10 with only four matches left. Three out of the four teams beneath them are only one point off from tying Morristown in points. The Continentals must finish strong in the next four games, to not only try to move up the table, but to secure a playoff spot in their competitive division.

Also, Coach Ryan Vinton released a statement last Wednesday night at the Tavern off the Green, proclaiming that he would get the team crest tattooed on his chest if the Continentals made the playoffs. Known for his crazy wagers and his honesty, the lads will look to win out, just to make sure that Vinton gets inked up.

Directions to Sheffield Park, Wayne
