(Hamburg,NJ)- The Morristown 1776 AFC faced a 3rd straight postponement (this due to inclement weather) to open their MCSSA Season Wednesday night, this affair, already moved from being a 1776 home fixture to an away match v. Walkill FC, had previously postponed one home and one away match both due to field scheduling issues.
The lads are itching to step on the pitch, during this period of unprecendented American hype surrounding The Beautiful Game in this build up to South Africa, and seem to be "cursed" in efforts to due so.
The Morristown club is said to be fielding there strongest side ever from reports out of Continental training and are literally dying to step foot in a league match.
Morristown played a 2008 friendly at Walkill FC losing 3-2, they have never played them in a league match.
