Turmoil at Continental Park
There seems to be something brewing within the Morristown 1776 AFC organization. I don't know if the October air has gotten into the lads, but unfortunate events has even led to injured manager Ryan Vinton taking the pitch in the final minutes of the Continentals last home match.
Morristown 1776 has dropped it's last two home fixtures, falling to Frankie's Fintest 4 to 3 in a thriller, and then to Vikings FC in an 11 to 1 blowout.
Something's got to give.
In their last home match on 10/19 the Continentals fell early following an unmarked Viking on a corner kick. As the lone Viking found the back of the net, the Continentals collapsed... Giving up seven more goals in that half alone. Vin Mazza would net the Continentals lone goal in the second half after Dan Clayton lobbed a ball to the top of the box.
After the match, Morristown 1776 wondered what was to come next... A full collapse or a nice rebound? We will find out next week as the Continentals travel to take on mid-table RD Benders.
